Cheshire based guitarist looking for interesting band, projects and gigs. Played most styles, rock, blues, indie, country, Celtic, folk, bluegrass. Have toured in pro bands UK and Europe done festivals, tv, theatre, musicals, weddings, funerals.sessions. I have been head butted on stage by a "nutter", electrocuted when I decided to use the mike stand to play slide guitar, had to flee when the PA caught fire...what a night that was...I am in my 50s but there is plenty of life left in this old dog if the right gig comes along.I have been teaching guitar for many years.

Influences
I love authentic music, Celtic, blues, Americana, folk, country, rock anything that has a timeline that stretches back, or is experimental. I play dobro, used to play pedal steel, a bit of keys, mandolin, banjo, anything with strings.
I am looking for great musicians who know how to groove, understand dynamics and space in the music.
I miss standing in front of the drummer and feeling that kick drum thump around 60Hz hitting my solar plexus. Feeling my trousers flapping in the breeze from the bass player's amp. I miss making music.
