Hi, I'm Miko Moon – a session drummer, recording artist, and music producer, working with clients worldwide.

I specialize in professional remote drum recording for singles, EPs, albums, film projects, and commercial productions. I record acoustic and electronic drums from my studio using a multi-microphone setup, high-end recording equipment, professional DAW systems, and carefully selected instruments.

Over the years, I have recorded drum tracks for artists, bands, producers, and independent projects across multiple genres. In addition to recording, I create drum arrangements, write parts from scratch, edit and enhance existing drum performances, program MIDI drums, and provide drum-focused post-production services.

My goal is always to serve the song. Whether a production needs subtle groove, modern punch, vintage character, or complex musical interaction, I focus on delivering recordings that fit naturally into the arrangement and elevate the final production.

I am available for studio sessions, remote recording projects, songwriting collaborations, touring opportunities, substitute gigs, and long-term musical partnerships.

Influences

My musical influences are very diverse and come from many different styles: jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, R&B, pop, rock, fusion, gospel, reggae, and modern instrumental music.

I’m inspired by artists such as Herbie Hancock, D’Angelo, Anderson .Paak, Snarky Puppy, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Tame Impala, Miles Davis, Robert Glasper, Vulfpeck, The Roots, Thundercat, Jacob Collier, J Dilla, Pharrell Williams, and Dave Weckl.

This wide range of influences makes me a very versatile musician. As a session drummer, I focus on understanding the language of each style and playing what the song really needs – whether it’s a deep groove, a natural live feel, a modern studio sound, or something more experimental.
