LOOKING FOR A BAND or KEYBOARD PLAYER / GUITARIST etc.
Moved from London to rural Andover Sep '21.
I'm more of a 'front man' than a background singer... but love harmonizing with others.
I've done 100's of gigs with and without bands.
I've an alto voice but on a good day I have a 3 octave range. Looking for a band OR backing keyboard / guitar etc.
I started with a charity band (5 yrs), then overlapped with a 'real' band (10 yrs) and a 2nd band for around 3 yrs & a short while with a Sea Shanti group! (All at the same time!) Plus been singing alone (to backing tracks), around 15 years.
I have a very eclectic taste in music, but find my voice especially suits blues / jazz / power ballads, rock and soooooo much more.
I'll happily try just about anything, old, new, funny, folk, country, rock 'n roll - just about any genre / era. And willing to learn new styles.
I love singing latin style songs too...as I love dancing along with them - I'm a pretty good dancer - and absolutely love a great power ballad or musical no.
During Covid 19 I sang approx 60 times online to keep my hand/voice in. :) And now singing mainly for carehomes, WI groups, RBL and outdoor fetes etc.
