Seeings as 2020 is the year that time forgot and everything is all about change, I thought perhaps I might change it up too...I am desperately missing performing live, and am predominantly a solo artist /singer - songwriter (although I have done a few collaborations in the past)...So, in the absence of gigs, I had hoped that I might find some like minded souls who would be of a similar mind and level of musicianship to jam/create/whatever - basically just find the "magic" that happens when "one plus one" does NOT equate to two!
Just no "cover band" or "tribute bands" please - there's a place and space for all of us in the music business, so no disrespect intended, but I prefer people who like to paddle their OWN canoe..
Would prefer enthusiastic, experienced artists/ songwriters in their own right, whose style/s work in compliment and harmony to my own - Death Metal Shredding is going to stand out like a turd on a wedding cake - eye catching maybe, but not really what you're expecting wanting ;)
Male or Female artists - I'm not too worried, playing strings, keys or percussion in genres that are complimentary...Just play it like you mean it!
