ABOUT
Have stopped playing drums, as feel that I am a decent enough player who could do other things & no longer can practically have an electro set at home. A big shame that PMT shut down - they were really kind to me and was able to play for hours and beat shyness. Sometimes I go into Leeds Playhouse to pay piano. Anything and everything comes out, and tends to flow. Perfection isn't the goal.
Have been working on vocal stuff at home and only recently playing a four string instrument while singing. Chords? Just thwack it! Wanting to create my own stuff without a DAW, and sometimes go to listen to local musicians to see what can be absorbed. Maybe going back to do live mic nights later in year would be good, except ad lib can be hard for others to follow.
Absolutely hate posting online so will get over that too. Until recently was too shy to sing. Sticking to drums, getting a better place and videoing myself would be fun but just far too easy.
Can write a song in five seconds. How to stop people switching off after one is what matters, these worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrds won't entice! But the whinge against the world was good, yet the relief within the wind was nothing,

Influences
Where to start and where to stop without sounding like another "pretentious wanabee". Doors, Depeche Mode and Death From Above 1969 may be the ROUGH ideal of vibe, but will listen to really anything, even modern pop through gritted teeth - people like different stuff so will respect it. Quite like the sound of flamenco guitars, but no intention of learning six string - keyboards and bass are expressive enough.
Do not want to ultimately sound like everyone else - at moment, my performances are so uniquely poor SO ON TARGET THERE lol

EQUIPMENT
Nothing that could really be used to playing live anymore. I had to sell or get rid of stuff. The four string box guitar that I have has been tuned for bass, so quite versatile. Have a basic looper pedal that I am slowly getting to grips with
No point getting stuff when not able to play live solo - doing exclusively cover versions isn't for me. Right now learning how to do stuff better is. Ableton and Youtube will always be there. Have just created an instant video of me playing keyboard and singing nonsense but you need to put it to Youtube first. Fantastic. Will go away and work on IT skills instead of chords, how fun :s
