FEMALE VOCALIST AVAILABLE FOR DEP WORK, GIGGING, STUDIO WORK, BACKING VOCALS, LEAD VOCALS AND PROJECTS...
I'm a professional vocalist from East Sussex seeking new projects with committed, professional musicians. Ideally I'd love to sing jazz and blues with a double bass and guitar or piano, but I'm open to any projects which are enjoyable and involve working with people who are keen to bring pleasure to others through music and earn a few pennies as well.
I play a little piano and guitar but would prefer to just be singing.
I'm available most day times to rehearse and happy to travel for the right projects.
I currently run events 1-2 nights a week but am available most other evenings and weekends.

Don't Sail Away
Don't Sail AwayRecorded and produced by me after realising it's been nearly a year since I've played about with my recording software. This is a brand new song about the fear of losing someone who makes you happy. I've done a little photo video montage on Facebook and Youtube as well so do check that out. www.facebook.com/meyareinmusic
Nothing(sample)A sample of a track from my upcoming Album 'Without A Clue', this track was wonderfully produced by Kevin Jones, formally East River Studios in St Leonard's, East Sussex. This song was originally written as a fundraising effort for a friend who had a horrific accident and was in a coma for 6 weeks. Thankfully he's fully recovered now and I remain grateful for the inspiration!

For YouA soulful blues song, the title track on Meya Rein's debut EP 'For You', featuring guitarist, Stuart Evans. (chorus) Will you let me dry your eyes for you? If I could I would take all your tears and I'd cry them for you I'd cry them for you, yeah that's what I'd do, I'd cry them all for you, yeah that's what I'd do. There is nothing to heal your pain, no words can make things right again And I know you think that you'll go insane, I'll be the sunshine in the rain (chorus) You fought your demons in the end, came back stronger, you made amends, They may still return now and again, I'll fight them with you hand in hand my friend (chorus) Put the bad times behind you, let the light you speak of guide you I believe love will find you and that guiding light will shine through (chorus)
ButterfliesWritten by Meya Rein Recorded and produced at Eastriver Recording Studios Remix October 2013 I fought against it all for oh so long Coz I was pretty sure that things would go wrong You'd found another but you still wanted us So I took a risk, I hoped that love was enough (chorus) But when you kissed me, I got butterflies Pretty quickly you made sure every one of them died You kissed me, you gave me butterflies And with your own bare hands you saw Every on of them died I used to hear from you every day You'd say you miss me and you hope I'm ok That quickly changed when you made me your girl I'd tell you that I missed you and I'd not hear a word (chorus) Life's never easy where heart versus mind You gave me away coz I was not worth your time Someday you'll wake up and see what you've lost Coz I was not worth the effort, not worth the cost You always want more so you'll always have none The grass isn't greener because there's more sun Seeking perfection you will never obtain The grass is only greener coz it gets more rain (chorus) I thought the third time would be the charm When twice before we've done each other harm Said things are different now, you want me so bad So I gave you my heart and you threw it right back (chorus) x 2
