... William Morton (Rhythm Guitar, Vocals & Programming) created Jekazol; recording the J_K_Z_L ? Demonstration c.d as a conclusion to a year of private writing,recording and concept design. Writing began in january 2004 and was concluded in January 2005 with 100 copies of the original 5 track mini album. Quoted from TERRORIZER MAGAZINE June 2005: "exceptional quality for a demo" - "A+ for effort". J_K_Z_L ? is currently undergoing a face lift and will be available again shortly with a remastered sound and new art work by William. The entire remastered mini album can be heard via the J_K_Z_L ? my space site (see 'Top Friends' section). In truth the roots are deep... Falling in love with metal in the late 80s, early 90s, albums such as 'Seventh son', 'Master of Puppets', 'Rust in Peace', 'Seasons in the Abyss', 'Dreamweaver' and 'Clandestine' can be counted as truly transforming experiences. With his concept design and material in place William in-listed help from his friend Chris Owen; who came in as a sessionist to play the guitar solos on the afore mentioned mini album. 3 Tracks from J_K_Z_L ? are presented on this site. You may download them at your pleasure... Feel free to pass them on to any fellow brethren of The Church of Metal. Jekazol is now Gigging as a live 2-piece outfit with the addition of Niky Vanhoeke on lead guitar (Jekazol utilises backing tracks through the PA in order to make this possible).The positions of Bass/Backing Vocals, and Keyboards/FX are currently vacant; Audition enquiries to this site or Email: jekazol -future band members must be willing and able to travel to Chatham, Kent for regular practice sessions at weekends. New material has already been written and will feature a more proggressive/melodic edge as both guitarists seek to increase their knowledge and understanding of theory and technique under the tutorship of thier guitar teacher Chris Francis.
