Hi there - I am an experienced musician currently working as a guitar tutor. I have been playing guitar and bass for the past 15 years and started teaching around 2010. I obtained my grade 8 on guitar and bass in 2008 and then went on to study music. I'm looking to join a group of dedicated and talented musicians, either in writing music or playing covers. As my main focus has been music education, I would really like to get out and gig more.

Influences
I am a massive music nerd but grew up listening and learning metal and heavy rock. When I studied music I was introduced into more intricate artists like Frank Zappa, Steve Reich, etc and this encouraged me to spend more time developing my technical ability. At the moment, I really enjoy tight and funky bands like Snarky Puppy and Vulfpeck but would also listen to a great deal of more ambient music, from Nils Frahm to Brian Eno and Cinematic Orchestra. Generally I am up for any style of music provided it is performed well.
