Versatile Pro-Standard Bassist (42) // 5-String / DI-Ready // NW Based
Professional, reliable bassist (42) returning to the scene after a 6-year hiatus with a refreshed perspective and a "song-first" mentality. I am looking to join an established Function/Covers band or a serious Originals project. Whether it’s driving a high-energy set or locking into a deep, soulful pocket, I bring a rock-solid work ethic and a pro-tier rig to every session.
What I Bring to the Project:
The "Freight Train" Engine Room: I’m here to lock the drums and guitars together. My focus is on being the engine room—driving the song forward with consistency and power from the first note to the last.
The 5-String Advantage: I play a Schecter J5. Having the low B-string allows me to handle modern Top-40, R&B, and Downtuned Metal, but it also adds a massive, "upright" depth to Blues and Soul tracks without needing to retune.
Genre Versatility: Comfortable with both pick and fingers. I can dial in everything from a warm, vintage Blues/Motown thump to a gritty Metallica growl or a punchy Pop-Punk attack.
Pro-Level Tone & DI: My board is built around the SansAmp Para Driver DI V2. I provide a studio-quality, balanced XLR feed directly to the PA. I know how to "fill the room" during solos to ensure the sound never feels thin.
Originals Ready: I’m at a stage where I want to contribute to the "big picture." I’m looking for projects where I can help drive the creative vision from the driving seat of the bass.
