Looking for lads or lasses of a similar age. I'm. I'm 49, so anyone around or 40+. I play what I need on my guitar to service the songs I write, which are pop/Indie orientated. I need people who want to tick the box that I want to tick which is playing my/our music. My songs are wordy but hopefully provoking and intelligent and I can write quite quickly. I need, initially, a good musician, maybe
keyboard player or another guitarist, interested in collaborating to structure, contribute, ideas and/or songs, then add what we need as the songs dictate. I want to create a big pop/rock sound, probably pop with a rock conscience, which has melody, provoking lyrics musical events and challenges for us in the arrangements. I don't want to be predictable. My influences are below. My background is in Theatre and have played in the pit for musicals etc but never as a group and, as I said, I'd like to tick that box.
