I'm looking to play again after a few years off having kids; I'm pretty open-minded; I'll happily listen to most things... but when it comes to what I want to play... It's gotta be ROCK... it's gotta be REAL...and it's gotta be F**KIN' LOUD!!!
I'd like to 'get back to basics' really...proper RIFF driven metal... Melodic, punchy, modern...a bit edgy and dark maybe...and aggressive, with plenty of BALLS...and maybe just a nod back to the 80's, where I first got hooked!!!

Influences
Everything I've ever heard has influenced me in some way. I've always been surrounded by music...of all different genres.There's not a box big enough to list ALL of my influences... but for the sake of getting across what I want to play...
Motley Crue, Ratt, Poison, Guns 'n' Roses, Faster Pussycat, Dokken, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Shotgun Messiah, Cinderella, KISS, Tigertailz etc etc... I'm a real child of the 80's... right through to today's metal, in all it's guises. BuckCherry, HellYeah and Hardcore Superstar are pretty much 'on repeat' right now. Favourite song of the moment... 'Guestlist' - HCSS.
I'm having a blast listening to mostly Scandinavian Rock these days...pretty much coz it's honest, punchy and powerful...and they have no 'hang-ups' to hold them back!!!
