Composer and audio engineer in Manchester, United Kingdom. Looking for band or bands for live work. Full own kit, transport, licence, and experience driving vans at 3am. Plenty of experience across multiple disciplines.
Im looking for fairly regular gigs, once a month or so is fine, but as I work full time I'm not looking for a four day a week practice and a gig every weekend type of band. Ideally, I'm looking for some relatively tech-savvy guys who gig once a month or so, practice 1-2 times a week, and are able to songwrite and share ideas via the internet. Soundcloud, DAW, and Ohm Studio experience would be handy (but happy to show/train guys on this stuff if you're interested)
Soundcloud page linked is largely my solo TV/doodling work.

For my current projects, I'm open to a funky, heavy melodic metal project with influences including Alter Bridge, Slash, Aerosmith, Airbourne, Heaven's Basement, and Halestorm (which includes all the other influences you'd expect from is mix, everything from ac/dc to avenged sevenfold). For something a bit different, I'd be up for a folk metal band inspired by the likes of Turisas, Gloryhammer, Ensiferum, and Tyr.
My own compositional influences are wide and varied across a huge number of genres as a TV/media composer. Big fan of the likes of Jeremy Soule, Hans Zimmer, Michael Giaccino, and Bill Brown.
- Full home studio (PC/Reaper based)
- Bass Guitar rig (guitars, 4x10 amp)
- Guitar rigs, amp, a number of guitars
- A shelf of random instruments that I've collected over the years
- A drummer with his own drum kit who's also looking for a band. Similar influences (probably a bit more prog-influenced than me)
