I'm Martin, currently lead guitarist with ''Phoenix Rising''. I'm looking for a drummer, bass player and vocalist to tackle 70's onwards heavy rock and blues....Zeppelin, Purple, Bad Company....& further forward; Velvet Revolver, Them crooked vultures, QOTSA, and more. Not looking for gigs twice a week but maybe once a month/6 weeks. Just in it for fun, not interested in earning from it. Four piece is preferred format....I'm confident I can fill out the sound. Semi professional for 20 years, had to pause due to back injury but back at it slowly building stamina via occasional open mic and others.

Influences

All the classics, Kinks,Rolling Stones, Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, QOTSA, as well as punk rock- Offspring, Ataris, too much to mention.

For many years I've wanted to put together a Led Zeppelin tribute band and play a couple of gigs maybe more in a year, to celebrate their amazing musical statements. I'm very familiar with all their material; have been playing and perfecting it for 40 years. If there's other musicians out there who share the vision I'd love to hear from you.
