ABOUT

I’m a guitarist. I have studied music to degree level at University if Salford. I have many years experience of playing live with a classic rock band, a Pink Floyd tribute band and a couple of original music projects. I’ve had a couple of years off of live playing but need to get back in to it. Preferably I’d like to do some Blues/Rock/RnB as that is my comfort zone and what I really want to play right now. I can provide backing vocals. I have professional level gear and I am able to drive myself and my gear.

Influences

The Black Crowes (and more specifically I’m a big Marc Ford fan), The Brothers Landreth, Joey Landreth, Joe Bonamassa, Doyle Bramhall II, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Dire Straits, BB King, SRV, Hendrix… seriously, so many. I grew up rewatching The Blues Brothers and The Commitments films. I like lots of bands and artists. If it’s Rock, Blues, RnB, Soul or Jazz I generally like it.

EQUIPMENT

I have guitars by Gibson, Fender and Musicman to be brief.
I have a flexible pedalboard that can be large or very small depending on what I’m playing.
I have various amp rigs depending on the band and size of the venue.
- Mesa Boogie Mk. V
- Vox AC30
- Fender Bandmaster
- Victory V40

If I were the only guitarist I can also create a wet/dry rig with a mix of these amps to help fill the sound a bit. I have options rig-wise
