Band to Join.

I am a bass player looking for an engaging project to get involved in .- could be ska/2tone, could be in the style of Flogging Molly , could be upbeat covers band - as long as i can see an audience bouncing along to it i dont mind ????

Playing live is my fave thing to do - not so worried about recording but have done a little .

Have had a lot of live experience (not recently!) in and around Bristol playing bass instruments in various bands with various flavours of style ranging from skiffle and folk to ska and punk .

During lockdown I have been getting into some 70's disco(chic, fatback band) and funk (parliament/bootsy ) bass lines just for lols - really enjoyed that.

I do not read music, play by ear but can pick up a tune and play a bass line after a couple of listens generally - although muse histeria is proving a little more challenging

I play most days for an hour or so - lockdown has seen that go up to 2 or 3 hours some days (Netflix is so samey !!) so lockdown has been useful from that point of view.

The demo track is part of a jam/rehearsal session recorded on a phone in April 2021 - first time i had played the original material and with the band so be kind ! If you can try and listen on something with some bass response ( eg not a phone!) to get a proper idea .
