Hi, I am a student, new to London, looking to start a music project. Mostly interested in writing originals - In my personal practice time I exclusively write, but I am capable of learning covers of all difficulties.
In my music project a main theme would be striving for a unique sound while still maintaining musicality in terms of harmony, groove etc. It is of a style somewhere between rock, jazz and electronic. My biggest influence currently is Gogo Penguin.
For my personal project I would primarily like to find a drummer with a keen sense of rhythmic innovation, must be comfortable in odd meters, playing to polyrhythms, metric modulation etc.
Outside of my personal project I am happy to work on more conventional projects of various genres.
I am interested in band projects as well as working with producers - I am very interested in electronic music and am well practiced in writing exotic loops in a duo context.
Additionally I have written lots of acoustic songs which would benefit from a vocalist.
