Punk rock attitude filtered through 60's psych(Seeds, 13 Floor Elevators) and 70's pop sensibilities(Big Star, Bebop Deluxe) who marry fuzz drenched guitars(MC5) with Beach Boys harmonies. Stephen Still's Manassas as an album would be a good starting point...
