I am an experienced guitarist who got bored with playing in rock bands and over the last few years have built a great digital recording setup. I am interested in getting together with a group of people to make music along the lines of Bjork, Nick Drake, Portishead, BAD, Arcade Fire, Sinead, Gabriel, etc. I would prefer to work with a female vocalist and am very keen to meet string players and percussionists. I especially like music that blends acoustic and electronic instrumentation. (Alabama 3 - Clothesline Revival - Postal Service) I would like to write and rehearse a set of original music with a view towards playing out and getting on a small label.
