Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Background Singer.ABOUT
Competent modern guitarist with well rounded technique and phrasing looking for an existing/new band to develop an instrumental or melodic rock presence in the county. Have intrumental material but ego's small and would like to develop a project which can play at gigs as and when.
Love all forms of rock and metal as long as there's a melody and now settled in Dorset would love to do some gigging whether covers or originals - got a decent handle on most pub classics from GnR to Maiden and everything within, and if anyone would like to try to appease the gods of melodic rock along the lines of Work of Art or State of Salazar then I'm all ears.

Influences
Guitarists:
Gary Moore, Slash, Van Halen, Satriani, , Eric
Johnson, Adrian Legg, SRV
Bands:
All the usual hair metal and rock influences for someone of my age from Led Zepp through to Poison (god help us) and Bon Jovi and Van Halen. Happy to listen to Coheed and Cambria with Toto, and Rush with Boston...so melodic rock is running though my veins and usually makes an appearance at some point on the Spotify mix. Not a dinosaur though so post-rock like This Will Destroy You works for me as does Sigur Ros, and I also love ambient stuff ranging from trip-hop to trance, Massive Attack, Faithless, Future Sound of London etc - plenty of my own work uses big soundscapes, delay and beat-mapping so if this makes ANY sort of sense to you, drop me a line.
