I am a female Jazz Singer. I don't play an instrument & am looking to get a band together with a view to gig, esp at events, wedding, parties.
I also love soul . My voice tends to suit swing jazz which I love but I can cross over to soul/rock n roll/easy listening. It would be great to do pop songs played in a jazzy way. In the last 4 yrs I've been on the Cabaret circuit in Brighton performing as a Burlesque performer. Although I love that I want to get back to singing & utilise the showmanship of Burlesque & put it into a classy, powerful, jazzy, bluesy also a bit, rocky band. I'd like to channel a bit of Post Modern Jukebox vibe & jazz up some modern songs.
