Guitarist looking for bandmates to start a new progressive metal band within the Edinburgh/Midlothian region.
I'm looking for a bassist, drummer, vocalist and a second guitarist.
I'm 35 and I've got a bunch of material written. I'm wanting to write intelligent music, going for a combination of aggressive, epic, melodic bands like Trivium, Wovenwar, Killswitch Engage, Five Finger Death Punch, etc. but with some progressive time signatures, song structures and atmospheric elements found in bands like Tool and even old school Metallica albums.
Vocalist - Looking for someone who can sing with some aggression (not scream so much though) and belt out some big choruses.
Drummer - someone who can come up with interesting beats for mellow and more aggressive rhythms and likes a bit of double kick
Guitarist - either rhythm or lead, I can do either and mix it up a bit
Bassist - Someone who can throw up some interesting bass lines to compliment the music
