Female vocalist looking for band to play out. For about 10 years I performed in cover bands in NYC: "Planet 52" was a tribute to The B-52s; and "Limelight" was a new wave/rock cover band grounded in '80s tunes. I really miss it so I'm hoping to hook up with a band here.
I've been practicing with a guitarist friend to play some acoustic nights, but that has fizzled out.
I'm a team player -- no ego, love collaborating; committed. I'm classically trained in piano so I can play light keys. I bring energy to a performance. My voice ranges from Dusty Springfield and Stevie Nicks to Kate Pierson and Debbie Harry.

Influences
Influenced by all genres -- from Celtic folk music and classical to ABBA, electronic and guitar-driven indie. Performed tunes by Blondie, The Breeders, No Doubt, Lisa Stansfield, Dusty Springfield, Carole King, Steve Nicks, Green Day, U2, Queen, The Stray Cats. Would love to do a bit of rockabilly, ska, swing, and more soulful stuff. I have an idea for a set that would run through different decades, from the '20s to now.
