I'm a multi-instrumentalist (mostly fretted string) looking to form a Gypsy-Punk or Folk-Punk band.
I am interested in other musical projects as well and generally down to jam as I find playing music with others very rewarding. I like to subvert popular music, changing the genre and instrumentation of songs to create something new and interesting.

Influences
Specifically Folk-Punk bands I like would include Kultur Shock, Blackbird Raum, The Barons of Tang, Katzenjammer, Balkan Beat Box, Crash Nomada, The Lemon Bucket Orchestra and, of course, Gogol Bordello.
Other influences vary wildly, from Led Zeppelin through Sum 41 to chillhop and other electronic music like Pogo or The Avalanches.
I grew up listening to a lot of world music and stuck to genres focusing on live instrument recordings, but have more recently been exploring electronic sounds.

EQUIPMENT
A buttload of instruments, a few amps, a couple of poor quality vocal mics plus a fairly decent recording mic (Behringer B5) with both cardioid and omnidirectional recording capability.
