I am looking to start a new original jazz influenced dub reggae band, fronted by myself. I was the lead singer of a punkier ska reggae band called RudeSix for about 6 years, and we had a great following and gig opportunities. The band died down a couple years ago for various reasons and after depping in a few other bands of similar genre I’m really looking to start my own band once again. I have lots of gigging experience and am a solid jazz/reggae vocalist with good stage presence. I’m seeking guitarists, drummers, bass players, trombone/trumpet/sax, keys and anyone else who would like to be involved. Reggae is my whole heart and I wanna create a communal music collective that makes outspoken, politically headed music with fat heavy bass lines and idyllic jazz melodies.
