Want to perform in front of the best audiences, play dress-up AND get paid?

John, Paul and Ringo of Like... The Beatles, an established Beatles tribute band are looking for someone with real talent to fill the role of George Harrison on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone who can fulfil the role as a lead guitarist and vocalist but also an impersonator as far as is possible. Our current George is heading off to pastures new - his replacement will have big shoes to fill.

We are not look-alikes but try as hard as we can to look, act and sound like The Beatles.

The group have a number of gigs booked in the South / South-East of England into the middle of next year and we're not stopping there - we're ambitious and looking to take this as far as we can and hopefully all over the world. We've already performed on live international TV, on radio and in theatres.

This opportunity will therefore require a lot of dedication and hard work, but it will also be a lot of fun. Ideally we are looking for someone who is aged (or looks) between 20-35 (to fit with the rest of the band), knows the parts or can get up to speed quickly. Own transport is essential, own gear not so much as the band own the amps, guitars (at least enough to get you started), wigs and costumes.

The band are based in Essex and rehearse in Southend. You don't need to be a full-time musician at this stage, but who knows what could happen in the future?!
