I am a classically trained keyboardist and singer songwriter in my final year of a songwriting degree at the ICMP although I have been writing songs and performing my own material for 14 years. I am looking to form a band to gig around London and record with. I have producer friends in the industry who would like to work with me. I write in the sophistipop / jazz genre and have been compared to Anthony and the Johnsons and Nina Simone. I like to use humour in my lyrics whilst approaching the darker elements of the human condition such as lonliness, failed relationships, frustration and flying saucers. I am looking to rehearse once a week, with some recordings planned for later in the year and will bring my energy and passion for music to each session. I am looking for a drummer, bass player, guitarist and keyboardist with myself on vocals.
