Looking for musicians in the Bournemouth/Dorset area that are looking to make music a part time career/gig anywhere between 1-5 times a week! Be it pubs, weddings, functions in the evening, or cafes during the day. Either start something new, or happy to join a band looking for a bass replacement.
I play bass, looking for other musicisans (guitar, vocals and drums) to start gigging covers but maybe one day move onto originals and play some festivals in the summer. I would like to try and play songs that every other band doesn't do but at the same time know what is needed to be played to get a pub off their seats so a happy medium is needed. I like the idea of being able to play an electric set at a pub/wedding but also experiment by playing those same songs acoustically (I play double bass). I have lots of giging experience playing mainly covers so know a large amount of songs (100+) so hopefully rehearsals should be quick to get ready for gigging. I take influence from Rock, ska, punk, blues, folk and funk.
Im currently in a band that plays once a blue moon but means I have a few contacts in local venues to help get us started but the more connections you can bring the better.
