Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I'm looking for exciting opportunities to perform regularly with talented, like-minded musicians.
I'm an experienced vocalist with a strong, versatile voice and a wide vocal range, comfortable singing across a variety of styles including jazz, pop, soul, rock, blues, swing and acoustic music. While I have plenty of live performance experience, I'm always keen to explore new genres and challenge myself with different repertoire. I simply love singing great music, whatever the style.
I'm a very quick learner and enjoy picking up new material, whether by ear, from recordings or from sheet music. I read music, play the piano and have recording experience, making me adaptable and easy to work with in rehearsals, live performances and the studio.
Alongside performing, I'm the Musical Director of two successful community choirs, arranging music, teaching harmonies, developing singers and leading rehearsals each week. This has strengthened my musicianship, communication skills and professionalism, while also giving me a real appreciation for working as part of a team.
Ideally, I'd love to sing regularly with a **jazz trio or band**, but I'm very open to other projects and collaborations. I'm enthusiastic, reliable, fun to work with and genuinely passionate about live music. Whether it's performing in an intimate venue, a lively pub, at weddings, festivals or private events, I'm happiest when I'm making music with other people.

Influences
My musical influences are wonderfully varied, and I love exploring different styles and eras. I'm particularly drawn to the effortless phrasing, warmth and storytelling of jazz legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Sarah Vaughan and Diana Krall. At the same time, I'm equally inspired by the honesty, soul and individuality of more contemporary artists including Norah Jones, Sarah Bareilles, Imelda May and Olivia Rodrigo.
