I am a very eclectic singer. In the past I have sung in an alternative comedy trio, performing all over the country, at Glastonbury and two sell out shows on the Edinburgh Fringe. I then sang in a Latin band, performing around London. My next gig was as vocalist with World Music pioneers, 3 Mustaphas 3. I sang in many languages and many styles: Greek rebetika, Hindi film hit, Serbian drinking song, Ki-Swahili love song,Macedonian folk song, to name a few. If you want to hear more, listen to the Mustaphas' Heart Of Uncle, recorded in London in 1989. I recorded and performed a number of songs for French label, Disques Nato, including 3 tracks on Steve Beresford's 'L'Extraordinaire Jardin de Charles Trenet'. Before leaving London I was working on a collection of Sephardic songs with the multi instrumentalist, Lenny Charles.
