Luminous on the Manchester underground since 2000, KT Forrester has supported the likes of International Drum n Bass singer/songwriter and BBC 1xtra radio presenter Jenna G,USA comedian Kyle Grooms of P Diddys Bad Boys of Comedy and the legendary jazz artist Terry Callier who has worked with the likes of Massive Attack and Beth Orton.

Katies flair shone at In the City 2005 when her track,' Baby Darlin' (Produced by factory records DT, Dellano Taylor of Tony Wilsons, RAW T) was chosen for the ITC 05 cd and made available for download on i tunes.Mike butcher of music bites reviewed her launch at The Circle. 'we're not in the business of doing the A&Rs jobs for them but its hard to deny the unbelievable raw talent of KT Forrester, with her trad standards and edgy new street vocals'.She was pinned as 'Find of ITC' that year.

'First thing i think of every morning when I wake up is music, music is my motivation and my inner strength. My love for singing first came about in 1992 when i heard the album 'Whats the 411', from then on i knew that life was about that buzz i felt when listening to Mary J Blige. My dream is for others to feel that buzz and impulse through my lyrics and melodies', says Katie.
