ABOUT

Krysia Mansfield is a warm & engaging singer, actress, performing artist and singing teacher.
Her voice is a rich mezzo and her styles range from art song and operatic roles to jazz standards, soul and free improvisation. In the context of solo/duo/combo/band work, film, tv, theatre, live gigs & studio recordings. Her compositions include melodic tunes with playful lyrics, soundtracks and experimental soundscapes.
This eclectic taste in music was significantly inspired by growing up in a house that took part in opera & ballet, key collaborations whilst completing a Bachelor of Arts Music at the University of Western Sydney, followed by being the front woman in neo-swing band the Radium Club Hepsters, recording and concerts with the Renaissance Players and original cabaret duo Zen Babies.
Krysia mostly gigs in London and Sydney when in Australia. She and her partner live on the Isle of Wight, and is seeking to team up with musicians for paid gigs/concerts and collaborative pieces - be it live, site specific, events, gigs & recordings. And is equally interested in joining an established group that seeks a versatile singer.
