Hi,

Our band is Krys Kiss and the Frogs and we have a varied set of 45 pop anthem songs across various genres spanning seven decades.

We play: Mr Bluesky, APT, 2002, She’s electric, One, Fight for your right, Price tag, Where is my husband, Walk this way, Baby just cares for me, Tainted love, Purple rain, I gotta feeling, Time, Vampire, Walk on the wild side, sweet dreams, Mr Brightside, Live forever, Good for U, Hey Micky, You shook me all night long, I love rock’n’roll, 17 going under, Time warp, With or without you, Common people and other stuff. It is a very rare set and quite challenging but it goes down very well with our audiences.

We get this repatoire as a three piece where our drummer plays a small Roland digital kit and also has duties on a Nord keyboard for about 7 songs. He has very sadly, just had a severe back accident at work and that has meant that he has to permanently stop playing.

Subsequently, we are looking for a replacement drummer in the Cheshire/Manchester area who is excited by the challenge of multiple genres, different drumming styles and drum sounds on a digital kit, playing simple keyboards and gigging at events and festivals.

We have a permanent studio/practice room in a music school in Frodsham, Cheshire and are happy meeting and playing with anyone who would like to have a go.

As for me, I've been playing guitar for ages and can turn my hand to almost anything required. I've also done sound engineering in my time and subsequently, fit myself into the other players' styles and the overall mix. I always play for the song and the groove and don't shy away from recreating the big solos (e.g. Floyd, queen, Prince, etc...).

I also do the lead singing in Krys Kiss and the Frogs, do backing, love playing bass (the soul of any song), can hold my own with a bit of keyboards and piano and taken up trumpet and drums. I love having a chance to swap round with instruments but its probably with my guitar that I'd be most beneficial.
