Began with classical music (Carnatic music) percussion at the age of 13. Started off playing the Miruthangam (similar to tabla). Due to my eagerness and enthusiasm to learn the instrument fast I was able to start performing around the age of 15 for charity shows. From than it has been quite a journey to now playing to weddings, classical concerts and fusion projects. I’m a versatile percussionist able to play cajon, Darbuka, several Indian drums and konnakol. I believe I’m capable to play beats on anything to an extend where I can grab peoples attention from my experiences. I can accompany melody artist’s to their liking and create a vibe where I don’t disturb. Music means everything to me and I’m ready to sacrifice my daily routine to tour with others musicians like yourself.

Influences
My biggest influence has been my Guru who taught me the miruthangam initially. Learning not only musical content but stage presence, discipline at rehearsal and collaborating to the best with other musicians.
