We got tired of playing in our rock covers band so thought we would do something that no-one else seems to do.
So we look out for alternative versions of great songs or we add our own arrangement within one perhaps but we don’t do are standard note for note covers.
Anyhow we're looking for a voice, guitar and/or keys to join us.
We have posted some ideas of a few tracks that we want to do on our FB page www./VesperLyndBand just so that you have an idea of what you might be letting yourself in for, along with a list of ideas for others that might form the first set list. You might have your own ideas too.
You would probably need your own transport and decent gear and be able to rehearse in Plymouth once, maybe twice, a week but as important is the ability to keep in touch and show some commitment. And we’ll get to play live 2-3 times a month and have fun.
If you’re looking for a covers band to play note for note versions of the usual suspects I’m afraid that we’re not for you.
