We are a covers band in the Heage/Ripley area of Derbyshire and we are currently looking for a rythm guitarist/vocalist/backing vocalist to replace our exhisting Rythm guitarist who is leaving the band at the end of this year due to family and work committments.
We are a fairly well established band gigging once or twice a month at pubs and festivals.
We have a practice venue at a pub in Heage (near Ripley), and at present we are usually practicing once a week, in the evening.
We are a covers band with a female lead singer with some songs also being sung by our bass player, Jim and current rythm guitarist, so a rythm guitarist with some vocal experience/ability would be good. We try to let the songs we cover suit the vocalist’s voices but are open to most types of music from rock & roll, classic pop and rock and anything that we feel would sound good for a cross section audience at a pub or festival!
Our ages range from late 20’s to a bit older! But were all young at heart. We have a good range of abilities within the band and a dedicated sound engineer. Our overall aim is to make music and have a good time and we usually end up filling the dance floor!
