To whom it may concern
We are a creative and popular band from Liverpool, looking for opportunities to promote and get our music out into the mainstream. If you feel that their may be any suitable programmes within your company, we should be grateful if you would consider us.
The name of our band is The Crown. If you would like us to audition, come for an interview or even just an informal chat, we would be more than happy to hear from you. My contact details are below.
Our music is mainly original, written by our singer, and the feedback we get from all the places we play really is encouraging. The band evolved from a group of friends playing at open mic nights around Liverpool. We have played at the prestigious Cavern pub open mic night, which is run by a musician called Ian Prowse (who before lockdown was on tour with Elvis Costello). After our first appearance, for which we got a rousing reception, we were asked to come back on a regular basis.
We have also been on Sarah Wynn-Griffith’s show on Mon FM, a Welsh radio station, who contacted us after we sent her a couple of demo tapes.
