Hey, I'm a singer/guitarist looking to form a band
The 2 songs on myspace are pretty alternative, and although i still like alternative rock ( as you can hear in the song "always"), the direction of the new songs is moving more towards a heavier style focused around riffs and a solid and predominant bass+drums sections with rhythm breaks etc to keep the songs fresh and interesting, i suppose i wouldn't mind trying something a bit different.
My ideal version of a band is probably Smashing Pumpkins during the mellon collie period ( no creative limits!), to be able to go from the soft quiet ballad to alt rock to heavy metal! Basically do whatever feels right and not worry about sound , image etc. basically i'd like to be part of a group that takes pleasure in what do instead of worrying that it sounds/looks a certain way..
