Hey, Im Kat. I have been singing a long time now and have done a few bits and pieces i.e musicals etc. Did backing vocals a while back for a band at a local music festival which was fun and have sang with a few bands on a spur of the moment kinda thing but would ideally like to do more with it and find a band looking for a female vocalist! I've got a relatively wide vocal range and wide musical tastes.
I have recently started performing at Open Mic nights once a month (with the use of acoustic backing tracks!) which I am loving!
I am also currently writing to a demo track for a top Trance DJ...something a bit different! :)

Influences
Karen Carpenter, Eva Cassidy, Fleetwood Mac, Adele, ...there's far too many to name! I am just heavily influenced by music in general, anything right through from Classical to Rock. Writing wise, I am influenced by my experiences and my songs tend to be partly autobiographical so they are full of raw emotion!
