I AM A SONGWRITER. A P.R.S and M.C.P.S. MEMBER. and take my music very seriously.

I have always loved to sing and compose music, I am though predominantly a songwriter. 2 of my original songs are up here featuring me on vocals, but I was never big on confidence and found live performance particularly difficult but was fine in the studio. I have attended several music courses, to help build my confidence, and have performed at a few showcases, singing my own material, which went very well.

I have an original CD to my credit, but at the time couldn't bring myself to sing any of the tracks myself, but got some great singers to perform them for me. Since then though I have demo'd a couple of original tracks myself, which can be heard here on BANDMIX. I would be really pleased to meet like-minded people particularly a pianist perhaps who could maybe get together a couple of nights a week to practice/Jam, some covers and some originals maybe, just for the love of it and see where it takes us!

Influences

Karen Carpenter, Ella Fitzgerald and most of the great female vocalists of her generation. My father was a big fan of hers and introduced me to her style of music. I write across all genres though not just that style.
