ABOUT

I have always been attracted to the process that builds a song from scratch to its final version – to the satisfaction involved in taking something intangible made from music and notes and building it into something worthwhile – a thing that can give value to people hearing it. I have likewise always been fascinated by the methods involved in turning a live performance into something special.

I have worked in the music field since my High School Leaving Certificate and have undertaken several music projects. I am attending a Bachelor of Arts course at SAE Institute London in Audio production. Music industry and in the specific audio production is a highly competitive field and getting into a career is very challenging. I am interested in shaping a successful career with the music industry, so I chose to attend a course at SAE Institute in order to get a good education and to create my own network.

I attended the Electronic Music Production course at the SAE Institute in Milan. This course gave me a broad-based technical understanding and an interest in technical work, from setting up and using a variety of systems (Ableton live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools), to understanding how the different parts of the synthesizers work and the mixing and mastering processes.

I studied at Music Academy, located in Bologna for 1 year, undertaking the Music Technology course. The subjects were on several topics: from recording a band in a studio to making a business plan about a hypothetical music project.
I worked as an assistant in a small Recording Studio based in Bologna. During this period I learnt a lot that was useful in terms of technical devices, for example, putting my hands on a Mixer for the first time.

I am now working as a Music Producer, creating beats for rappers and musicians.
I always try to be creative and to put something new into my tracks. I like to experiment and to make beats inspired by different areas of Hip Hop, Disco, Funk, Electronic Music but always with something fresh.

I have played in a local four-piece Indie-Rock band – Alkova – located in my home town. I played the electric guitar and the keyboard. Our first album is still in the development phase, and it was entirely recorded by me, with the equipment I have, in the rehearsal space in my home.
