I am mostly looking for some fun playing cover songs or contributing to a band, playing guitar. It is a long time since I played live and regularly, but would like to pick it up again so could increase commitment depending what I discover. I play rhythm/lead guitar, melodic guitar - not really interested in heavy rock / solos etc.
I have included some old mp3s of a band I was in years ago to illustrate sort of playing style I am interested in (I am playing the lead/'riffs' in these tracks).
I wouldnt say absolute no to writing new music but with work and family I am mainly looking for the fun of jamming and playing songs that I like live.
