54 years old, played guitar from my mid teens to my late 20’s then stopped for almost 2 decades, and only started again last year. I tried to find like minded guitarist/musicians to learn from/with years ago, but without much success (a couple of failed bands, never really got off the ground)
I’m looking for guitarists/musicians near me, to learn from/with with the same kind of musical taste & influences, but with the understanding that I have commitments, which mean I can’t devote as much time as I’d like to playing & practicing.

Influences
Started by listening to bands, from the 60/70’s in my early teens, then moved on to rock and metal until I heard grunge.
So, primarily I was influenced by the likes of, Jimi Hendrix, led Zeppelin, Cream, Dereck and the Dominoes, Blind Faith, Rolling Stones (a little, but not a big Beatles fan though), Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, (early Ozzy stuff more than the others and his solo stuff), Gun’s & Rose‘s, Aerosmith, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai.
(a little) Deep purple, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Rainbow, Metallica, Queen, Mr Big.
But really fell in love with the 90’s grunge scene and bands like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in chains, Temple of the Dog and to a lesser extent Nirvana, Bush, Creed, Alter Bridge,
