SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
I am a violinist and fiddle player with a background that ranges from classical ensembles to rock and folk stages. My playing is really shaped by many years spent as a rock guitarist, which brings a different perspective to my work in bluegrass, jazz, and traditional styles.
I’ve always enjoyed being the "missing piece" of an arrangement. In the studio, I’m used to working from transcribed parts and preparing well in advance to make sure everything is ready to go. Live, I’m just as happy stepping into a lineup and finding the right part on the fly, adapting to the music as it happens.
I pride myself on having good musical and personal chemistry, and I can read, memorise, or improvise as needed. I’m currently looking for professional recording or live projects—whether that’s a duo, a full band, or a chamber setup—that might need an extra layer on a flexible basis.
My background helps me bridge the gap between structured orchestral work and the more fluid styles of rock, folk, and country. If you’re looking for an experienced, adaptable player for your recording or live set, please get in touch.

Influences
Like most musicians, my influences are a broad mix, and while I don’t try to play "like" any one specific artist, my musical vocabulary is definitely built from an eclectic record collection.
I’ve spent years absorbing everything from the heavy riff work of early metal and the energy of grunge to the more expansive, experimental arrangements of prog and art-rock. On the violin, I’ve always appreciated artists who successfully bring the instrument into these different genres.
Ultimately, having such a wide-reaching interest in music—from classical masters to indie and metal—has given me an ear for spacious harmonies and a sense of how to layer a part within an ensemble. It’s less about mimicking a specific sound and more about having a diverse range of textures and ideas to draw from when I’m working on a new project.

EQUIPMENT
Fully equipped with professional acoustic and electric violins and guitars. I carry my own dedicated amplification, DI solutions, and in-ear monitoring setup. I am also fully mobile and able to travel to and from sessions and gigs under my own steam. I aim for an easy, "plug-and-play" setup for everything from quiet gallery spaces to high-volume festival stages.
