36 year old long time bass player, looking for a new band to join or project to start, ideally playing original material.
Well experienced on bass guitar in multiple genres over 18 years of live and studio experience. 5 years into playing upright double bass and have developed myself to a confident level with pizzicato and bowed styles.
The sort of music I want to play in a perfect world would have definite groove and be danceable/headbang-able in some form, or alternatively be dark and atmospheric.
I'm quite a dynamic live player. Nothing ridiculous but I'm not one of those to stand still staring at my strings!

Influences
I've played in rock, dub-reggae, metal, punk, folk, pop and soul bands in the past and love all of those genres. Recently am mostly listening to psychedelic electronic music so make of that what you will.
Overall I am versatile, and will easily adapt to any music that I vibe with.
