I am a mature bass player with several years’ experience playing bass in local pop/rock and swing/jazz bands around the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire area. I am a fluent music reader if bass parts are provided, or I can play by ear with songs I know. I prefer playing with pop/rock bands playing covers from previous decades, or with or larger swing/jazz bands playing songs from the 40's to the present day. I am also an experienced piano/keyboard player, which means I could provide keys sounds if required at times, though my preference is to stick with bass. Although now retired from work, I am active and energetic, and can commit to gigs if they are not too far from the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire area. I don’t wish to play every night. Two or three gigs a month would suit me best.

EQUIPMENT
I have all the necessary kit, including a Fender ‘Jazz’ bass, a Fender ‘Precision’ bass, and a 5-string bass, plus various amps, foldback speakers, effects pedal, and other band-related necessities. I can also provide an electric piano, Juno Di synthesiser, and Roland Fantom 06 synthesiser if keys are required from time to time.
