I’m looking to start a new covers band, but the goal is simple - do it better.

I’m aiming to bring a proper live gig feel into local venues - not just louder, but bigger. The kind of sound where everyone contributes to the space, rather than sticking rigidly to their role.

That means bass that moves when it needs to, guitar that blends rhythm and lead, and a band that builds the song rather than just copying it. Think popular songs people know, but wouldn’t expect a band like this to cover. Songs with reworked parts and a set that feels like a live show rather than predictable background noise.

I’ve played to good crowds before and know what works live, but this is about building something fresh with the right people.

I’m aiming to strike the right balance between what we enjoy playing and what works for a crowd. The best gigs I’ve played are the ones where the whole place is up and moving, so I’m not looking to fill sets with songs that drag or don’t land live.

Looking for musicians who are confident in their playing, adaptable in how they approach a song, and want to create something with a bit more edge. Currently looking for a drummer and bassist. Also open to another vocalist (male or female) and possibly keys.
