I've been playing guitar since I was 13, fell away from it a bit for a couple of years because of uni, but recently been practicing every day, concentrating on honing my speed, melody and technique more than just learning songs.

Influences
My biggest influence has always been Marty Friedman because of the unique melody and interesting scales and patterns he uses in his solos, making him sound so different to most guitarists who just run up and down scales really fast.

EQUIPMENT
My two main guitars are an ESP LTD M400 which I use for pretty much everything, and a Ibanez RG170 Gio which I use for different tunings. Amp is just a basic ol' Line 6 amp which I've had for years and a channel switcher pedal, nothing fancy.
