ABOUT
I am a confident 19 year old front man and accomplished guitarist, my main guitar is a vintage sunburst Gibson ES339 although I also have an electro acoustic which is played on a few songs, my amp is a VOX AC30 and pedal is a Boss BR-500. As you can tell by my equipment I am very heavily influenced by Paul Weller although my songs don’t always imply this as I think it’s important to have an aspect of your songs/band that separates you from other artists. I have a very good voice and have recorded professionally many times, my style of guitar is very busy, in my previous two bands I was the sole guitarist as I tend to throw licks and variation chords in and it never seemed to work with another guitarist, this aside I am more than happy to try with a guitarist if you are interested, I try to keep the lay out and basic idea of my songs simple but the general sound is not un like bands like The View, The Jam and The Kooks, I’m looking for a dedicated band to bring what is needed to my songs, ultimately a bassist, drummer and guitarist but I want to go into this with an open mind and any keyboard/piano or any other instruments are welcome as I have no real idea of what I want the new set to sound like, I have a set of songs ready for a band to learn, I have my own car and very flexible job and am not worried about putting money into this project, if you would like to hear some of my music my last bands MySpace is www.myspace/shortstoriesoflondon
