I am an experienced musician, with over 20 years performance experience as a soloist on Flute and Voice as well as performing in orchestras, ensembles, bands and choirs for concerts, operas, musical theatre, festivals and events across West Sussex, Surrey, Bath, Bristol and Somerset. Performing various genres including Classical, Jazz, Opera, Musical Theatre, Pop, Folk and Folk Rock.
Outside of performing, I teach music in schools and colleges as well as instrumental lessons on flute, piccolo, voice and piano to children and adults from beginner levels, through to Diploma. I also run Adult Choirs and vocal workshops.
As well as my teaching and performing experience, I have been involved with Arts Administration for the Rainbow Over Bath Festival, Arts Box Office Manager at St George's Bristol, Concert Managing and Stage Management for Bath International Festival and Bath Philharmonia, as well as individual events such as Robert Moran's 'Desert of Roses' opera, 'Barnum' the musical and 'The magic Flute' opera. Through these experiences, I have been involved in the publicity and marketing required leading up to an event, budgets for my department, sales for events, recruiting and training staff (including Customer Service training), contracts (staff and performers), as well as over-seeing the smooth running of events as they happen.
