Drums.ABOUT
I am a Glasgow-based, Canadian-British musician who I suppose is on the older side in terms of age but look and feel a lot younger than one would think. I've played in numerous musical projects — both solo electronic and in "bands" (playing guitar, bass, vocals, etc) — that have toured North America and Europe over the years, and with that I've played hundreds of gigs (and have the strange stories that go along with it!)
Lately I have been playing as a solo electronic "darkwave" project for 15 years and after just as long as a break from playing electric guitar (my first instrument), I've gotten back into again.
On guitar I'm currently playing with another established Glasgow musician and good friend of mine (he on bass guitar and possible vocals) with a similar background and experience and we're on the search for other people to play with, most notably a drummer that we can get along with and is into what I can only describe as a unique mix of post-punk, post-hardcore, dance-punk, noise rock, etc. We welcome anyone regardless of gender (I've mainly played in bands with mixed sex/gender), background, age, creed, etc. We have a good sense of humour and love working with people!
If there's chemistry (both musically and personally) and a collective interest to do things with it, we're open to possibilities of shows and touring/recording. We both have the experience and the connections for it!
(I put "rhythm guitar" in this profile as my style doesn't really fit "rhythm" or "lead" — more the former I suppose.)

EQUIPMENT
For playing guitar my set-up is a 1976 Antoria SG with bigsby and a 1977 H&H Musician Amp — all found the "old school" route through local classifieds — with pedals including Boss CE-5, Flanger, Graphic Equaliser, Earthquaker SR Disaster Transport dual delay, ElectroHarmonix Holier Grail and a somewhat ancient Electroharmonix Stereo Memory Man. I have a mid-1980 Epiphone Ripper bass guitar. For synths I have many including Yamaha CS15, Roland JX3P, Prophet Rev 8, Korg Minilogue, Novation Bass Station, Novation MiniNova, Roland JU-06, Roland SH01A, etc.
